Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Formulation:
- Develop and document the AS-IS architecture of the company's IT landscape.
- Design and articulate the target architecture to align with business goals and strategies.
- Create roadmaps and transition plans to move from AS-IS to target architecture.
- IT Governance:
- Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop policies and procedures to guide IT decision-making and operations.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to define the IT strategy and ensure it supports business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and solutions to enhance business performance.
- Provide expertise and guidance on strategic IT initiatives and projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business units to understand their requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT and other departments to ensure alignment and integration.
- Present architectural solutions and strategies to executive-level stakeholders and gain buy-in.
- System Integration and Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize existing IT systems and infrastructure for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure interoperability and integration of various systems and platforms within the organization.
- Lead efforts to modernize and streamline IT operations and processes.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate architectural and technological risks.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure security and privacy measures are incorporated into the architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Extensive experience with IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
