We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications. You’ll work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver reliable and secure backend solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django.

• Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to ensure data integrity and performance.

• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and data processing logic for web and mobile applications.

• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend services.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to maintain streamlined deployment workflows.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical decisions.

• Maintain awareness of new technologies and how they can be used to improve performance and code quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend development.

• Proficiency in Python/Django for backend development.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

• Solid understanding of performance optimization (e.g., lazy loading, code-splitting, caching).

• Solid grasp of security principles and best practices for web applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Django's built-in testing tools.

• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker.
